8-Phase, Dual Ring Software for the 2070 Controller

The VOYAGE controller software is a powerful program which operates in various configurations of 2070 controllers. It is designed for consumer ease of use, but complete with the features needed to move traffic on today’s congested roads.

VOYAGE offers many useful features including menu-driven keyboard programming, context sensitive help and dynamic displays of real-time operations. The software is easy-to-use; back-up timing plans allow the controllers to be programmed in minutes. VOYAGE is ideal for unique applications, the built-in programming language, Internal Logic, allows for custom control algorithms.

VOYAGE can serve isolated intersections, “closed-loop systems” or be part of a larger central control system. The software can be programmed to cause a local intersection to operate in System Mode, allowing it to send the correct time and coordination plan to other local controllers in the system, and to act as a System master.

The software will operate in various configurations of 2070 controllers including the Standard 2070, 2070L, 2070N (NEMA version) and 2070NL (NEMA version). Any controller which conforms to NEMA/AASHTO/ITA Type 2070 ATC specifications and utilizes the OS/9 software is a possible host for the VOYAGE software. Due to differences in the internal software supplied by hardware manufacturers, specific brands and models must be tested to insure proper operation.

Along with VOYAGE, a separate PC program, NWSCentral, is available to manage the VOYAGE software from a Windows-based computer. NWSCentral is a useful system which provides intersection specific data entry, upload/download capability, database management and other valuable tools.

PT05 – Pre-timed Controller Software
2070 Controller

Northwest Signal Supply, Inc developed the PT05 software in response to the need for precise control of signalized intersections. Pre-timed control means the programmer can dictate exactly how the controller will respond in all situations. Typical applications include closely spaced intersections, “downtown” grid systems, and intersections that are regularly impacted by emergency vehicles, light rail trains, trolleys or other preemptive need.

Along with PT05, a separate PC program, NWSCentralPT05, is available to manage the PT05 software from a Windows-based computer. NWSCentralPT05 is a useful system which provides intersection specific data entry, upload/download capability, database management and over valuable tools.
